The BDA Belgrade Summer Basketball Camp will take place at Kovilovo Sports Resort, which is located on the outskirts of Belgrade, Serbia. This excellent sports venue is tailor made for staging high-end sports camps and is a regional partner of BDA International.
Kovilovo Sports Resort provides the best conditions for the preparation of professional athletes in Serbia, as proven by the successful hosting of hundreds of teams from Serbia and Europe over the years, including professional league basketball teams and Serbian national teams for both men's and women’s categories.
The facilities teams have at their disposal while at the centre include a fully equipped sports hall with two full basketball courts with parquet wooden flooring, regulated to FIBA standards. In addition the centre has two outdoor basketball courts, swimming pool, sauna, a fully equipped weights room, physio facilities and multiple classrooms with projectors for game film analysis sessions.
Kovilovo Sports Resort is one of the few complexes that provide top level sports infrastructure alongside accommodation of the highest class.
Luxurious rooms in opulent surroundings, with ‘all you can eat’ full-board support throughout the duration of your stay. Food is carefully prepared nutritionally to support elite athletes dietary needs with all considerations catered for.
Kovilovo is also surrounded by 26 hectares of green space and accessed via gated security, providing a safe and secure environment for athletes to focus on their training without unnecessary distractions.

All rooms are fitted with comfortable beds, fresh linen, air-conditioning, flat-screen TV, phone and desk. En-suite private bathrooms with each room provide a shower, WC, toiletries and a hair-dryer.
Players and parents alike will also greatly appreciate the outstanding outdoor swimming pool which provides a stylish swimming or ‘cool down’ area to relax, socialise and enjoy non-training time during the summer sun.
All the coaches working with BDA Camps are highly-skilled, thoroughly trained and educated FIBA Licensed coaches. The entire programme was put together by the late, great, Dejan Milojevic and Bane Vukovic, with all camp coaching staff carefully selected from Coach Milojevic's current or former assistants.
Coach Milojević is well-known and beloved across NBA and global basketball circles, sadly recently passing away, however BDA Camps continue on in his honour to fulfil his vision of teaching young players how to play the right way and carry his legacy forward to the next generation. The former coach of NBA 2-time MVP, NBA Champion and perennial All-Star Nikola Jokić, Coach Milojević has also coached and developed 6 other NBA players which include Boban Marjanovic (Dallas Mavericks), Ivica Zubac (LA Clippers), Timothé Luwawu-Cabarrot (Brooklyn Nets), Goga Bitadze (Indiana Pacers), Vlatko Čančar (Denver Nuggets)and Adam Mokoka (Chicago Bulls) in addition to many other players who have gone on to play successfully in the Euroleague. The team of coaches at BDA have been mentored and developed under Coach Milojevic and bring their expertise to BDA International Camps.

Belgrade is one of Europe's 'hidden gems', full of culture, good food, great shopping, beautiful city attractions, friendly people and a basketball history and tradition unlike any other!
During your stay we offer a fun-filled excursion for players and parents that includes:
- Visiting Belgrade Knez Mihailova pedestrian area
- Shopping at Rajiceva shopping mall
- Dinner at a traditional Serbian restaurant
- Visiting Fortress Kalmegdan
- Visiting basketball facilities of Partizan and Red Star Belgrade
Other excursions such as a visit to Lake Ada and a Danube River Cruise are also available options.
Our camp training schedule for each player is split into two training sessions per day - with one in the morning and one in the late afternoon.
After the first training session in the morning, time is reserved for players education. We believe that psychological preparation for games is very important for every players overall development so they can perform at their best in competition. We incorporate appropriate lessons around this invaluable topic after our morning training sessions.
We also teach players about exercises that help their basketball development as well as how to lead a healthy lifestyle with good eating habits that support their basketball goals.
BDA Camps work closely with the European Institute of Sports and feature many of their leading lecturers as our guest speakers.
After lunch and obligatory rest, we go for our second training session of the day. Evenings are reserved for leisure time. We offer a number of Belgrade City tours and cultural excursions for players, parents and coaches.
