The LSB has support and partnerships with an international network of basketball coaches and organisations across Europe and the US who provide tournaments, competitions and opportunities for scholarships, and, in some cases, professional progression for LSB players. Our partners leverage the access to our international network and profile to increase visibility beyond the scope of their local competition, while adding significant value to their students experience while creating new, highly-coveted pathways for their students to tangibly pursue.
LSB MANAGE THE BIGGEST BASKETBALL SUPPLY CHAIN IN LONDON
As a result of the LSB's successful work in increasing the number of young people playing basketball across London, we created a grassroots basketball league which has now grown into the . The CBL provides organised competitions for over 2,000 players every season, playing for clubs within the LSB network that service many, many more. Through our clubs and competitions networks, the LSB control a thriving and self-sustaining supply chain of new players looking for colleges and sixth forms to the direct benefit of our partners new student recruitment and enrolment each year.

The role colleges and sixth forms play in their wider community has never been more important as we move towards an actively inclusive and cohesive society. The LSB develop local community infrastructure with our partners hive facility serving as the central point to wider reaching community engagement, connective activity and inclusive club development. LSB ACADEMIES IMPROVE ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE
95% of LSB Academy student-athletes successfully passed their academic courses in 2020, a statistic we are working to improve upon this academic year. At LSB, academic performance is prioritised as a 'non-negotiable' with our athletes. Academic achievement is a pre-requisite for progression, both on and off the court, with whichever direction our athletes decide to go post-college. We are connected to a wide range of universities both in the UK and the USA and work with the course faculty in each of our partners colleges in ensuring all of our athlete's are properly prepared for the transition through to higher education.

Embedding a progressive, well-organised, aspirational basketball academy into a college or sixth form nurtures a culture of excellence that transcends the sports arena and spreads throughout the whole school. The LSB senior management team have been at the forefront of strategic basketball leadership for over 20 years and have in-depth knowledge and experience of managing and developing successful basketball infrastructure at all levels. We have worked successfully with the senior leadership teams at Sport England, Basketball England, the Greater London Authority, NIKE and a whole host of other blue-chip companies.
