The LSB is pleased to announce the return of both Hoopstars and LSB Camp coaching programs after a 6-month break, due to the Covid-19 lockdown.

Basketball all across the world has been facing unprecedented challenges as we collectively get to grips with how to move forward in a new era of coronavirus considerations.   Basketball England (the governing body of basketball all across the country) have been working diligently with Sport England and the relevant health authorities in carefully putting together a roadmap for a full return to basketball on all levels.  While the latest announcements from the government have put a temporary halt on adults returning to indoor play in groups of more than 6, sessions for U18's have been given the green light to return, albeit with clear health & safety guidelines in place.

With the LSB working closely with Basketball England in ensuring all RTP Guidelines are in place, the time is finally right to re-introduce coaching sessions for all players under 18 years of age.

The first Hoopstars sessions are ready to book now in Enfield with Barnet, Brent, and Hammersmith sessions to follow shortly, all for October re-starts.   LSB October Half-Term Camp is also now confirmed in Enfield, with Brent camp also planned for the forthcoming half-term.

In line with the COVID-19 compliant guidelines, both Hoopstars sessions and Camps will be run with a maximum of 25 participants, which is significantly less than pre-COVID classes.  As such, places are limited and so all interested players and parents are advised to book early to avoid capacity disappointment.
