The London League is a newly-formed competitive basketball league launching in 2022 for talented 16-20 year olds who aspire to play at a higher level. A well-organised competitive platform primarily for gifted & talented players from across London to showcase their skills to coaches and scouts from America and mainland Europe, who are searching for under-exposed players with high-potential to join their teams on scholarship, or in some cases, professional assignment.
The primary purpose of the League is to help players from London increase their exposure and dramatically improve their prospective next-step opportunities. In most cases, this will be by helping market the top players in the league to post-grad prep schools, JUCO's, NAIA schools and all of the NCAA 1 & 2 schools in America. For some, this will also include marketing players to our network of European coaches and scouts who feed some of the top academies in mainland Europe. Bottom line, the league is a FREE opportunity for players to increase their options, credibility and visibility in an otherwise 'hard to crack' market.
The London League serves our players first, by providing a single venue multi-team league competition set up to capture high-quality, extensive footage of every game and every player in the league. All games are stat-tracked by qualified statisticians, providing the first quality-assured, accurate statistical profile of London's top players. Verified stats enable the league to produce objective player ranking lists, which are fed directly into player profiles for all players, alongside the high-quality game footage - enabling coaches overseas to not only learn about London's 'hidden gems' - but also review in-depth, high-quality video footage of the top players to assess their suitability as potential recruits.
The league is free for all players who attend a Next Level Academy. There is also no fee for players to enrol and attend a Next Level Academy.
We have removed all fees for eligible players to be a part of this groundbreaking opportunity as our aim is to level the playing field for players from London, irregardless of background or financial status. By removing obstacles that prevent progress and creating bridges between where players are today and where they want to go tomorrow, we are excited about what the league will facilitate for a new generation of London basketball stars.
